For our authorized Instructor users, we also collect a copy of our Instructors' driver license or passport for identification purposes.
Students please note that your individual Instructor will also have access and collect your email address so that your Instructor can provide your ordered music lesson.
The Way We Use Information:
The purpose of Music Virtuosity's Website is to act as a full featured, web based system designed to provide a forum where music instructors can provide music lessons to students.
In this purpose, your information is used for contact purposes for notices of music lessons, music lessons, and to provide you with customer assistance. By completing our User Application as either a Music Virtuosity Student or Instructor, you agree to comply with and adhere to Music Virtuosity's Privacy Policy as well as Music Virtuosity's Terms of Use. We will only provide access to your email address to your Instructor. As soon as such Instructor is no longer your instructor, he/she will no longer have access to your information.
Other than your Instructor, we do not share, sell, give, or loan your information to any other company, entity, or person.
From time to time, we may be required to provide personal information in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may release certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.

Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. The server on which the information is stored is located in a high security facility. Access requires a key, photo id smartcard, and handprint identification. The web server and database server are both protected by a firewall. All access to confidential information is done via a secure 128 bit connection. Only a few select people have physical or electronic access to the server.
Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important to Music Virtuosity. We use the same policies and procedures to protecting children's information as for all other information. In addition, we require parental authorization from our Student who are under the age of 13. The Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") requires this procedure for all "for profit" corporations. Music Virtuosity values the privacy of children, and we comply with all the requirements of COPPA in order to protect the privacy of children utilizing its Website.

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by contacting Music Virtuosity directly as directed below. We use this procedure to better safeguard your Information.
